The Language for Learning lap cards can be used as a teaching support or as a quick method of determining the level of questioning at which a student is working.

Download and print onto light card as a double-sided resource. This is a quick reference that can be used when working with students. Each level is colour coded and gives a selection of the type of questions that are appropriate for each level. This supports teachers:

• to know the types of questions at each level

• to ask students questions at their level. 

This will ensure that every child in a group or whole class setting can be asked a question that they will be able to answer.
