Sound Beginnings

key to literacy

Word Finder

Do your students overuse ‘common’ words? When we start to use language, we usually start with a really basic set of words. As we evolve with our language, sometimes we continue using them over and over again. This can make our speech or written language boring. This resource identifies those overused words and provides alternatives to make language richer. Learners can to add to this list themselves and can highlight a word in the list every time they use one for the first time.
