Shaping the World – Turia Pitt – Digital

The Shaping the World series follows the life of Turia Pitt. In 2O11, when she was 24 years old, Turia entered a race which was 1OO kilometres long. A big bushfire burned out of control and trapped Turia. She had nowhere to run. She was burned beyond recognition.

Surviving against incredible odds Turia decided to teach others how to cope when bad things happen.

She is now an author, fundraiser and motivational speaker focussing on youth. Her advice to others is “Never give up. You can do anything you want simply by never giving up!”
